I have been a grain bull for the past 6 months. I have watched each one of my long grain trades get stopped out for losses. I have lost a lot of money trading the grains this year. The last two buy signals I had in the grains were soybeans and corn.
I passed on both of these trades. My recent trading past in these two markets left me timid. Catching these two moves would have made up for all of the losses I had in the grains this year. I know that 20% of my trades account for 80% of my profits. There are some mistakes I make over and over again. Lack of discipline got me this time.
To rub salt in my wound, Soybean meal (December) touched my stop and kept going higher.
